Overview of proceedings :
- An EXO/YSI multiprobe was used to examine how a number of chemical parameters within the estuary changed across the tidal cycle. After every 30 minute interval, the multiprobe was deployed off the pontoon whereby measurement were recorded one meter intervals from the surface (0m) to 4m.
- The temperature (⁰C) of the water column was recorded, along with conductivity that was used to examine salinity (PSU). Dissolved oxygen was measured both using percentage saturation and mg/l; pH was also recorded.
- The EXO probe was deployed off the side of the pontoon, remaining in the water for the duration of sampling; unfortunately, measures of turbidity could not be recorded due to an error with the probe and the salinity sensor required calibration.

Low water = 13:07pm (12:07 UTC)

- Spring tide
- Initial conditions changed throughout the duration of the study. The breeze increased around 0900 UTC and it begun to drizzle around 0951UTC. At 1030 UTC, the cloud cover was reduced to 5/8.
