Falmouth Group 9
2015
Introduction

On Wednesday 24th June 2015, Group 9 took part in a scientific research trip on the RV Callista to locations off the coast of Falmouth, UK. Whilst onboard three depth profiles were sampled and plankton net catches, at Stations 13, 14 and 15, which took approximately 5 hours between 07:00 and 12:00 UTC. Station 13 was furthest offshore ending with Station 15  being close to the mouth of the estuary. Conditions were ideal for sampling with minimal swell and clear skies with very light winds. The only problem being caused was by zooplankton nets not closing at the desired depth.
