A drowned river valley formed in the Holocene, Falmouth estuary is one of the largest natural harbours in the world (with 127km of shoreline and 6 major tributaries) and thus capable of holding large cargo ships far up the river1.
The aim of this website is to report and present our initial findings of the interaction between biological, chemical and physical factors and how these can vary through space and time.
