This website details the interpretations of data collected from the surrounding and offshore waters of the Fal Estuary in the Cornwall area of the United Kingdom. Biological data was collected on both phytoplankton and zooplankton; chemical data including nutrient and dissolved oxygen concentrations and physical data on temperature and salinity. Samples were taken in the estuary and offshore waters, using both in situ probes and analytical laboratory methods. Additionally, geophysical data of the seabed in the Helford estuary was supported by video footage.
