Glider Projects

The NOCS started working with glider in 2006. During that year we completed a number of trails working with our EGO colleagues to deploy our gliders from Mallorca.

Our next proejct was a study of deep convection in the the Gulf of Lions

Currently we are deploying gliders as part of the RAPID Watch Project.

Gliders are also used to gather data for Marine Biogeochemistry
