Archived data of the second Trials off the coast of Mallorca, October 2006.
During the month October, we did a second trials to test the gliders. During the first trials it appeared that the oil pump in the glider suffered from unrecoverable problems and the trials had to be ended early. The second trials turned out to be a great success, despite the fact that ammonite had to be taken out of the water prematurely because of a leakage. Both Bellamite and Coprolite travelled between two waypoints for nearly a month and each covering a distance of roughly 1000 km's! Below, you can find a selection of the data we got for both Bellamite and Coprolite during the one-month period.
