European Glider Observatories (EGO)

NOCS and its fleet of gliders are founder members of the European Glider Observatories initiative, aka EGO. EGO is a group of scientists from various oceanographic research institutes interested in the use of gliders as a measurement platform. EGO organsies an annual workshopt and glider school. The next workshop is planned for 14th-18th March 2011 at PLOCAN on Gran Canaria. The EGO home page can be found at http://www.ego-network.org/.
