Ocean and Climate modelling

Research Interests

Global Ocean Modelling: evaluating high-resolution ocean models alongside in situ and remotely-sensed observations; investigating recent changes in Atlantic circulation, heat content and water masses.

Earth System Modelling (ESM): constructing a new framework for intermediate complexity ESM; use of ESM for quantifying uncertainty in climate change over the next millenium; use of ESM for better understanding glacial-interglacial cycles and the last deglaciation, through forward modelling of climate proxies such as oxygen isotopes.
