Marine Flow Cytometry

Research Interests

I am responsible for the day to day running of the National Oceanography Centres Marine Flow Cytometry Facility, and the maintenance, operation and supervision of the use of it's instruments and equipment, both ashore and frequently at sea on research cruises. My work is focused within the Plankton Team of OBE, working in the areas of interest of Dr. Zubkov, Dr. Mary and Dr. Topping, though consultancy and supervision in the application of our public-use bench-top flow cytometers is available to other users and groups. Through working closely with others I am interested in broadening the application of Analytical Flow Cytometry within a marine context at NOCS.
