Southampton is quite easy to locate. It sits in the centre of the UK's south coast, opposite the Isle of Wight. The City of Southampton lies at the head of Southampton Water. Travel to Southampton is easy by most forms of transport: plane, train, car and ferry.
London is of course well served by airports, but you will also find international airports in Southampton and the near-by town of Bournemouth. From the London airports there are good road (motorway) and rail links. For those travelling via Heathrow airport, note that there is a frequent bus service to Woking railway station that provides a convenient route to Southampton. If you need any further advice on your travel plans please feel free to contact us.
