EUROSTRATAFORM Steering Committee meeting (WP leaders + co-ordinator only) |
Because this is the final meeting for EUROSTRATAFORM, we will not follow the standard structure we have used in past annual meetings. Instead, results will be presented as cross-disciplinary synthesised accounts of the science from EUROSTRATAFORM, PROMESS1 and the North American EuroSTRATAFORM programme, following a source to sink approach. Presentations will be split by geographic area, with introductory presentations at the beginning of each session, and an overview/wrap-up at the end of each session. Speakers in each session will be organised and invited by the session co-ordinators, following submission of short abstracts from those who wish to present. Detailed presentation of results will take place via dedicated poster sessions.
Oral presentations
All speakers are requested to submit their slides to the session co-ordinators in advance of the meeting so that they can be collated into several larger Powerpoint slides shows to save time during the meeting. The introduction and overview to each study area will be given by the session co-ordinators at the start of the session so you should omit this from your presentation. Please ensure that your presentation has an appropriate number of slides for the time slot you have been allocated - the time schedule is very tight and presenters will not be allowed to overrun their time slot. Time slots vary between sessions - please check the programme for how much time you have been allocated for you talk.
Poster presentations
Posters should be prepared no larger than A0 size, in portrait orientation. Fixing material will be provided by the organisers.
