GEOPHYSICAL DATABASE
Bathymetric data (mono- and multibeam), gravimetric data, multibeam imagery, sonar and seismic collected by Instituto Hidrográfico (Portuguese Defence Ministry) can be requested from Instituto Hidrográfico.

RIVER DISCHARGE DATABASE
Several data banks on hydrology, precipitation, groundwater, river discharge, water quality and coastal waters monitoring are supported by the Portuguese ministry of Environment. Each data bank is accessible though a web page.http://www.inag.pt
SEABED SAMPLES
Searchable metadata base of seabed samples from the ocean basin and European continental waters and the seismic lines from the European seas held at European institutions, universities and industrial companies. This initiative was supported by the European commission.

METEOROLOGICAL DATABASE
Basic meteorological data from observations can be requested from the Meteo-Portugal through the web site. Weather models can also be requested from the Meteo-Portugal office.
