- 2005 July Deployment

 

 

 

 

     

The ANIMATE PAP moorings were serviced by Discovery cruise D296 in June 2005.

The telemetry buoy and the 5 microcats down to 80m broke loose after 0700 27-July-2005 utc and are now drifting. It is hoped that RRS Discovery will be able to recover these pieces of equipment.

19th October 2005 -The drifting part of the 2005 mooring has been recovered by the RRS Discovery which is currently undertaking the annual Atlantic Meridional Transect cruise (AMT). Many thanks to the scientists and crew.
