Southampton's Expertise in Global Ocean Modelling

National Oceanography Centre, Southampton is an established leader in modelling the global ocean system. The Large Scale Modelling group concentrates on ocean-scale models, the Process Modelling team looks at how to model smaller scale features.

We are contributing expertise to NCOF from developing the 1/12 degree resolution OCCAM (ocean circulation and climate advanced model), High Resolution Sea Ice Model, and Real Time Biological Modelling.
