COLLECTION database on-line
DATABASE A at Southampton is now complete with 1157 images.
DATABASE B at Strasbourg has approximately 7000 images.

Scanning stations at Strasbourg and Barcelona operated A0 scanners to
generate 300dpi images for processing and archive. Databases were
managed at Strasbourg and Southampton.

Scanning of seismic records began in June 1998 and a summary
of these data held at SOC is linked below.

A Quality Control Handbook has been published to co-ordinate the metadata,
scanning and processing operations across Europe. This is for project reference.

A PROJECT INFORMATION BOOKLET is also available and can be
obtained from your SEISCAN regional office or down-loaded as a pdf file from this site.
Information sheets and requests for information were circulated to
marine science research and data centres within Europe.
